Actually Jedd did great overnight on his feeds as long as we didnt’ run his rate too high. We calle dit hiw “fat time” because it all stayed down.
Remember when you do switch from the NG to the G the reflux will get worse for a little while. It shoudl subside.
BTW Dr. do overnight feeds because the tiny amounts that go in are unlikely to come back up as long as the rate goes in slow. That way the child can play catch up on their weight.
For a while, it was the only way Jedd was gaining at all.
